The Posta Raj family had once constructed the road from Cuttack to Puri, in order that pilgrims could travel easily to the Jagannath temple.

In 2003 La Plebe released their first recording, Conquista 21, A 6 song EP which included the popular “La Posta” as well as the cover “Vahos Del Ayer”, by the late Argentina punk band Flema.
