At a meeting of the Royal Council in Verona, the referandarius Cyprianus accused the ex-consul Caecina Decius Faustus Albinus of treasonous correspondence with Justin I.
In 2005, he was appointed to the Cdl.Szoka Chair at Sacred Heart Major Seminary in Detroit, and in 2010, was named a Referendary of the Apostolic Signatura by Pope Benedict XVI.
He was subsequently appointed referendary to the Apostolic Signatura and Lay Abbot of the monastery of Santa Maria d' Attilia, in the diocese of San Severino.
He made his way up through the clerical ranks as Referendary of the Tribunals of the Apostolic Signature of Justice and of Grace (1580), and later went to serve the grand-duke of Tuscany, the former Cardinal Ferdinando de' Medici.
In 1802, he accepted the situation of counsellor to the newly erected court of appeal at Hadamar, an office which he filled at Düsseldorf, during the disturbances of Nassau; but being recalled, in 1811, to the service of the duke of Nassau, he became vice-director of the aulic tribunal of Wiesbaden, and referendary of the minister of state.
In 1433 he went to Rome where he exercised the functions of auditor of the Rota and Apostolic referendary.
