In 1996, RCA released the CD box set Hot Tuna in a Can which included a remastered version of this album, along with remasters of the albums Hot Tuna, Burgers, America's Choice and Hoppkorv.
The albums released in the box set are digital remasters of the original recordings and mixes, done by John's widow Yoko Ono and the same team of engineers at Abbey Road Studios who worked on the 2009 remasters by The Beatles, In London and Avatar Studios, New York.
Shortly after the release of Converge's 2004 album You Fail Me through Epitaph Records, Equal Vision reissued remasters of Petitioning the Empty Sky and When Forever Comes Crashing.
Official remasters of several of their albums have also been released (High School Rock Remastered, 1-2-3-4!: The Complete Early Years Remastered and Rock-N-Roll Habits For The New Wave (Remastered)).
The 2012 Frank Zappa release Finer Moments (in line with the 2012 remasters/reissues of his core discography) bears the phrase "This is Zappa Family Archival Matter In Living Ylem" on its back cover.
