In the mid-1950s the company bought extensive lands in Utah for its rocket test range, and continues to have major operations in the state, at Magna and Promontory (manufacture of the Space Shuttle's solid rocket motors), and its current headquarters at Brigham City.
The legacy of its lighter graphite-wound solid rocket motor technology lived on in the GEM side boosters used on the Delta rockets, and the Orion stages of the Pegasus air-launched rocket.
He began working with Oracle in 1990 at the Advanced Solid Rocket Motor Plant in Iuka, Ms. He is currently employed by Texas Memory Systems.
