Harmony, Rhode Island

In the early nineteenth century a toll booth of the Glocester Turnpike was located in Harmony to raise funds to maintain the road until it was abolished in the 1850s.

Kuala Lumpur – Karak Expressway

As a result, two toll gates were constructed at Gombak and Bentong and the toll road was administered under Malaysian Highway Authority.

The upgrading works also included the construction of a second tunnel located beside the existing tunnel to provide additional two lanes for eastbound traffic, widening the toll gates at Gombak and Bentong and also constructing interchanges to replace junctions.


Ashton Gate

The Nikki Catsouras photographs controversy concerns the leaking of photographs of Nicole "Nikki" Catsouras (March 4, 1988 – October 31, 2006) who died at the age of 18 in a car crash after losing control of her father's Porsche 911 Carrera at high speed and colliding with a toll booth in Lake Forest, California.
