Ancistrocladus letestui is a species of liana of the plant family of the Ancistrocladaceae occurring in the subtropical or tropical dry forests of Cameroon and Gabon (Lower Guinea).
The reserve houses a tropical dry forest ecosystem, within the reserve the flora consists of over 500 species of plants and tropical dry trees, such as pochote, black rosewood, mahogany, hogplum and guacuco, as well as a large variety and amount of orchids.
The natural habitat is subtropical or tropical dry forests but it is almost extinct due to habitat loss; some 50 plants remain in the wild, growing in a narrowly circumscribed area at Corps de garde, Trois Mamelles, Yemen, Magenta and Chamarel.
Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical dry forests, subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests, and moist savanna, especially Zambia, Mwinilunga District, Ikelenge Pedicle between the Sakeji and Zambezi rivers, approximately 11 km NNE of source of Zambezi River, Kavunda, 11°17'S, 24°21'E, 1,388 m.
