The Paumgartner altarpiece (c. 1500) is an early tryptich painting by Albrecht Dürer, commissioned by the Paumgartner family of Nuremberg.
He made a tryptich of sardonyx cameos to celebrate the family of the Queen Margherita of Savoy: the first depicts the monument raised in Turin for the Prince Ferdinand, Duke of Genoa (Queen's father), the other an equestrian statue of King Victor Emmanuel II of Italy, father of the then present king; and the third medal was the portrait of the then Prince of Naples, later King Victor Emmanuel III of Italy.
Among the most prominent chapels are that of the Santísimo Sacramento, with a Reredo by José de Churriguera, and the Chapel of San Andrés, with a Tryptich of the Deposition by Ambrosius Benson; and the chapel of the Deposition with the recumbent Christ by Gregorio Fernández.
Highlights include the roof beam, the tryptich above the high altar, the Lady Chapel, the shrines of Our Lady and of St. Barnabas, the baptistry, the Nativity painting by Norbert Chapdelaine, the Stations of the Cross, the 1897 Casavant Frères organ, and the stained glass windows.
