The Beijing Wushu Team was founded in November 1974 by Wu Bin and Li Junfeng as a successor to the Beijing Wushu School.
Hao Zhihua appeared in the 1987 video documentary titled This is Kung Fu with fellow Beijing Wushu Team member, Jet Li.
Currently living in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada, Grandmaster Pan's awards include a Hall of Fame award from the United International Kung Fu Federation, a Hall of Fame Award from the World Christian Martial Arts Federation, the International Legend Hall of Fame award from the USA Wushu Kung Fu Federation and a Hall of Fame Award from Black Belt magazine.
In 2005 the center expanded into a 15,000 square foot facility and their list of available programs grew to include Brazilian Jiu-jitsu, Chinese Wushu, Shaolin Kung Fu, Muay Thai, Acrobatics and Tahitian Dance.
The centre concentrates on nine series of training courses for its members, which included sports, dancing, music, wushu, academics, information technology, experiential learning, language development and creativity programmes for children.
After finishing a certificate in engineering at ITE, Ng competed at and won the 1995 World Wushu Championships (USA).
