A mathematical approach to the study of concurrency and communication is referred to as Communicating Sequential Processes (CSP).
In order to facilitate a way to describe parallel behaviour some of the CSP keywords are used, along with the general file structure of Occam.
Sequential Circuits | Communicating sequential processes | Sequential manual transmission | sequential manual transmission | sequential decoding | Sequential Circuits Prophet-5 | scheduling (production processes) | Posterior communicating artery | Features, events, and processes | ''Communicating Sequential Processes'' | Calculus of communicating systems | Anterior communicating artery | Agricultural Involution: The Processes of Ecological Change in Indonesia |
Although CSP is a mathematical system, JCSP does not require in-depth mathematical skill, allowing instead that programmers can achieve well-behaved software just by following simple rules.
JCSP re stands for "Communicating Sequential Processes for Java, Robot Edition" this is a reduced version of the original JCSP packages and work done at the University of Kent.
