Bob Tischler

Tischler joined NBC's Saturday Night Live television program when Dick Ebersol took creative control in 1981 and became head writer of SNL for four seasons, leaving the show in 1985.

SNL Financial reported in 2008 that Deer Run coal mine in Montgomery County, Illinois, a project of Cline's Hillsboro Energy LLC, would produce up to 8 million tons annually until 2016.

Terry Sweeney

Sweeney, who is not related to fellow SNL alumna Julia Sweeney, had also been a writer of sketches for SNL during the early 1980s under producer Jean Doumanian prior to being hired as a member of the cast.

The Church Lady

Dana Carvey recalls that he was prompted by executive producer Lorne Michaels to introduce the character (when it was still in SNL rehearsals) at a Neil Young concert at Madison Square Garden, which Church Lady interrupted, fussing and fuming: "What are we doing here? What's all this noise?"

The Folksmen

Introduced by Pamela Stephenson, the SNL sketch depicted the Folksmen as caricatures of semi-retired folk musicians: three conservatively-dressed middle-aged men, spouting homilies and performing simplistic songs with cloying lyrics.
