Melvin was presenting Swap Shop with Basil Brush in 2008 on Saturday mornings, alongside his days of playing various characters for the long running and BAFTA award winning Dick and Dom in Da Bungalow.
In December 2006 they appeared in the BBC Two programme It Started With Swap Shop, a retrospective of BBC Saturday morning television, featuring in a filmed sequence with Phillip Schofield and Sarah Greene, then in a studio sketch as the dry cleaners.
WTAB received notoriety in 2009 when Sal Governale and Richard Christy from The Howard Stern Show made prank calls to the station's "Swap Shop" program hosted by Jack Miller.
