The ancient and as yet superficially explored city of Eumenia is located on the shore of Lake Işıklı near Çivril and the locality is arranged into a recreational area.

Bekilli district area neighbors the district areas of Çal and Çivril, both also depending Denizli to the west, south and east, and those of two districts of Uşak Province to the north, namely Ulubey and Karahallı.
Karahallı district area neighbors those of two other districts of the same province to the north, namely Ulubey and Sivaslı, and to the south those of two districts depending Denizli Province which are Çivril and Bekilli.
A township on the lake shore and that is part of Çivril district carries the same name as the lake (Işıklı).
Sivaslı district area neighbors those of four other districts of the same province from north to south, clockwise Karahallı, Ulubey, Uşak central district, and Banaz and ranges Sandıklı district of Afyonkarahisar Province in the east and Çivril district of Denizli Province in the southeast.
