Semi Tadulala collected a hat-trick of tries as the Bradford Bulls proved that struggling Castleford Tigers will need more than Dwain Chambers to avoid the wooden spoon.

Bradford lost another close game against Warrington Wolves in which they led by 12 points at one stage but lost 32 – 28 Bradford's tres came from Michael Platt, Chris Nero, Semi Tadulala, Ben Jeffries, Andy Lynch and Paul Deacon who retuted from a number of games out kicked four goals.

Bradford played Huddersfield Giants in the first game in July,in a controversial game where one player was sent off and four players sent to the sin bin the game was a very a close affair with Chris Thorman kicking a last minute drop goal and the Giants won 25–24 tries came from Michael Platt, Terry Newton, Andy Lynch, Simon Finnigan and the Goals came from Iestyn Harris who kicked (4).
