Arad International Airport

Arad Airport is directly connected to the A1 motorway (part of the Pan-European Corridor IV), one of the most important and heavily used motorways in Romania.

European route E71

The segment north of Podi interchange near Dugopolje is not physically signposted as the E71, rather the designation is found along the A1 motorway north of the Dugopolje interchange.

Lučko interchange

The interchange represents the northern terminus of the A1 motorway and it connects the A1 route to the A3 motorway between Jankomir interchange and Buzin exit, also representing a part of Zagreb bypass.

Trasa Kwiatkowskiego

Eugeniusza Kwiatkowskiego (Trasa Kwiatkowskiego) – is a highway in Gdynia named after Eugeniusz Kwiatkowski linking the Port of Gdynia to the Tricity beltway (Obwodnica Trójmiejska) and therefore A1 motorway.

Despite its small population, Wasserbillig is home to ExxonMobil's largest petrol station, which serves the A1 motorway, leading into Germany.

As of August 2011, Hrvatske autoceste and Autocesta Rijeka - Zagreb operators of the A1 motorway signposted the A1 south of Karlovac as the E71 all the way south to the Dugopolje interchange connecting to the Podi interchange of the D1, contrary to the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) specification of the route.
