ADC Theatre

Many famous actors acted in the theatre at the start of their careers, including Sir Ian McKellen, Emma Thompson, Dan Stevens, Rebecca Hall, Hugh Laurie, Hattie Morahan and Tilda Swinton.

John Grillo

After Cambridge, he was awarded an Arts Council Playwrighting Bursary and his plays were performed at Nottingham, Glasgow, Oxford and Dublin as well as at the ADC Theatre in Cambridge.

Katherine Press

Whilst at Cambridge she worked with directors including Tom Attenborough, Jamie Glover and James Phillips, performing at the ADC Theatre and the Edinburgh Fringe.


Cambridge University Amateur Dramatic Club

Although many are performed at the 228-seater ADC Theatre, where the Club is the resident performing company, recent venues have also included the Corpus Christi Playroom, The Octagon at St Chad’s, King's College Lawn and the Round Church.
