Two internationally known companies can be found in Stephanskirchen: Marc O’Polo, which has its international headquarters there, and ARRI.

Arseny Tarkovsky was mainly known as a translator of Abu'l-Ala-Al-Ma'arri, Nizami, Magtymguly, Kemine, Sayat-Nova, Vazha-Pshavela, Adam Mickiewicz, Mollanepes, Grigol Orbeliani and many other poets.
The CML has over 3500 members worldwide, including members of the American Society of Cinematographers, the British Society of Cinematographers, the Canadian Society of Cinematographers, etc. as well as representatives from most major equipment manufacturers, including Kodak, Fujifilm, Aaton, Arri, Panavision, Sony, Panasonic, etc.
Of the five original films, Conquest is the only entry filmed in Todd-AO 35 using Arriflex ARRI 35IIC cameras with lenses provided by the Carl Zeiss Group; the other Apes pictures were filmed in Panavision.
The film was digitally shot using the Arri Alexa camera along with ARRI master prime and Alura zoom lenses by German cinematographer Florian Zinke who worked as second cinematographer for Li Yu's previous film, Buddha Mountain.
Kinoton HDFS (High Definition Film System) was a prototype 35 mm motion picture film format proposed by German projector company Kinoton and developed with the film camera company ARRI and the Swiss company Studer.
