In addition, the village had two tea-houses to serve the numerous passengers who flocked from the county's villages to Kaleybar for bartering their produce in the town.

The Mikandi Valley, few kilometers west of the village, is a promising touristic site.

Before the Islamic Revolution, the village was famous for a holly family, who were considered to be the descendant of prophet of Islam.
A touristic camp has been built in a valley near Mikandi close to Aghaweye -- Oskolou road.
