In addition, the village had two tea-houses to serve the numerous passengers who flocked from the county's villages to Kaleybar for bartering their produce in the town.
Hejran Dust was not on the unpaved road, which used by muleteers carrying goods between Kaleybar and surrounding villages.

The paved Kaleybar--Oskolou road, completed in 2005, didn't bypass the village.
One of the inhabitants, Mashhadi Aziz, had built an inn with minimum accommodation for the travelers to the remote villages, such as Abbasaba and Balan.

During 1980s and early 1990s Oskolou was the last village on the west of Kaleybar that had access to a town via paved road.
