Agoston Haraszthy (1812–1869), Hungarian-American traveler, writer, town-builder, and pioneer winemaker in Wisconsin and California
In the 1850s and 1860s, Agoston Haraszthy, a Hungarian soldier, merchant and promoter, made several trips to import cuttings from 165 of the greatest European vineyards to California.
Her mother was Natalia Haraszthy, granddaughter of Agoston Haraszthy, founder of California's wine industry.
