Catherine Soullie (born 18 July 1954 in Cite d'Aunis) is a French politician and Member of the European Parliament elected in the 2009 European election for the Massif Central-Centre constituency.
The company was founded in 1976 by Jean François Fountaine and Yves Pajot, in the town of Aigrefeuille-d'Aunis, in Charente-Maritime.

On 7 September 1996, a monument was established near the boundary of the La Rochelle pocket, near Saint-Sauveur-d'Aunis, the "Mémorial de la poche de la Rochelle", in memory of the soldiers who died in the operation.
Suzannet was severely wounded at the Battle of Rocheserviere on June 20, 1815 fighting for King Louis XVIII against troops loyal to Napoleon Bonaparte, as a result of his injuries Suzannet died the next day at Aigrefeuille-sur-Maine.
