In 1968, a member of the squadron, Lt. Col. Howard Dallman, was awarded the Air Force Cross for his heroism at Khe Sanh.
The award would be worn after the Medal of Honor, Navy Cross, Distinguished Service Cross and Air Force Cross and, for members of the Coast Guard, before the Defense Distinguished Service Medal and the Department-specific DSM decorations.
He was also awarded an Air Force Cross for service as Commanding Officer of No. 7 OTU (Operational Training Unit) at Debert, Nova Scotia.
Today the hall has over 600 honorees among them are Medal of Honor, The Kearny Cross, Distinguished Service Cross, Navy Cross, Air Force Cross, Silver Star and Distinguished Flying Cross winners.
