Air West

Air West was the first Sudanese airline to start to fly between Khartoum and Rumbek, where the Sudan People's Liberation Movement (SPLM) has its headquarters.

Blythe Airport

Bonanza then merged with Pacific Air Lines and West Coast Airlines to form Air West which continued to operate F-27 service from the airport.

Air West was then renamed Hughes Airwest which in turn eventually ceased all passenger service from Blythe.


Oxnard Airport

In 1968 Pacific merged into Air West which became Hughes Airwest; it continued at Oxnard with F-27s until replaced by Golden West Airlines and other commuter airlines in 1973-74.

Paso Robles Municipal Airport

In 1968 Pacific Air Lines merged with Bonanza Air Lines and West Coast Airlines to form Air West which continued to serve the airport with F-27 propjets.

Santa Maria Public Airport

Pacific Air Lines (formerly Southwest Airways flying Douglas DC-3s) merged with Bonanza Air Lines and West Coast Airlines to form Air West which continued F-27 flights.
