The knockout stage of the 1997–98 UEFA Champions League began on 4 March 1998 and ended with the final at the Amsterdam ArenA in Amsterdam on 20 May 1998.
On 21 December 2011 Bas Nijhuis gained worldwide attention and public criticism for sending off AZ Alkmaar goalkeeper Esteban Alvarado in a KNVB Cup second round match against Ajax after an Ajax supporter ran onto the pitch of the Amsterdam Arena and attacked him, prompting Alvarado to retaliate in self-defence by kicking the attacker several times.
Cuenca made his debut for his new team 10 February 2013, against Roda JC Kerkrade at the Amsterdam Arena, assisting Daley Blind in his first ever goal for Ajax as the match ended in a 1–1 draw.
Aside from his own tour, VanVelzen opened for various large acts throughout 2008, including Kelly Clarkson at the Heineken Music Hall and Bon Jovi at the Amsterdam ArenA, as well as several smaller festivals throughout the Netherlands.
In May 2010, Klein performed at three sold out concerts at the Amsterdam ArenA with De Toppers.
