Between 1939 and 1944 he played for Mexican club Asturias F.C. and won with this club – and together with his younger brother Tomás Regueiro – the first championship of the new created Primera División de México (1943–44).
Reaside coached a number of teams in South America, including Nacional of Uruguay, Newell's Old Boys of Argentina, and Asturias and Guadalajara of Mexico.
