Königsegg

It was partitioned between itself, Königsegg-Aulendorf and Königsegg-Rothenfels in 1622, and was inherited by Königsegg-Aulendorf in 1663 with the extinction of the line.

As of 1806, Königsegg consisted of two isolated parts, one around Königsegg, and one around Aulendorf.

The last one was taken out of service in 1963 and was kept at Aulendorf as a museum engine until 1968.


Francis Christopher Anton, Count of Hohenzollern-Sigmaringen

He was the son of Count Francis Anthony of Hohenzollern-Haigerloch and his wife Anna Maria Eusebia of Königsegg-Aulendorf.
