In 1995, through his publishing inc. company he launched the Dnevni avaz (Eng: Daily Voice).

He is owner of the Dnevni Avaz newspaper, president of the Union for a Better Future of BiH, and minister of security of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
He commenced learning Persian traditional vocal Avaz at the age of ten, alongside his older sisters under their father’s supervision and gained knowledge of Avaz techniques and voice-producing.

The band’s third album Avaz was produced by Wharton Tiers who is known for his work with bands such as: Sonic Youth, Pussy Galore, Helmet and Dinosaur Jr.
The channel's name was announced by President Abdullah Gül as "AVAZ", a word that means "voice" in many Central Asian languages.
