He commenced learning Persian traditional vocal Avaz at the age of ten, alongside his older sisters under their father’s supervision and gained knowledge of Avaz techniques and voice-producing.
It was later performed by numerous Iranian singers including Qamar-ol-Moluk Vaziri, Mohammad-Reza Shajarian, Leila Forouhar, Homayoun Shajarian, Farhad Mehrad, Shakila and Mohsen Namjoo.
He has also sung the role of Mongol Commander as well as the Executioner in Rumi Opera directed by Behrouz Gharibpour and composed by Behzad Abdi and served as the foil to Shams (sang by Homayoun Shajarian) and Molana (sang by Mohammad Motamedi).
