The game lacked the realistic physics of some contemporaries, such as Geoff Crammond's Formula One Grand Prix.

An easter egg in the game allows selection of the motorbike from Super Hang-On.

However, in this version, there are three tracks to choose from: Senna's own farm circuit in Tatuí, São Paulo, and two other fictitious tracks, designed by Senna himself.

1984 Formula One season

Toleman, who were an up and coming team in Formula One, lost Warwick to Renault and released Bruno Giacomelli, but signed former Grand Prix motorcycle World Champion in the 350 and 750 classes, Venezuelan Johnny Cecotto (only the second Venezuelan driver in F1 history), as well as a rookie from Brazil by the name of Ayrton Senna, the reigning British Formula 3 Champion.

1988 Hungarian Grand Prix

All drivers bettered their Friday time in Saturdays qualifying session which saw McLaren's Ayrton Senna grab his 8th pole position of the season and 24th of his career which at the time made him third on the all-time list after Jim Clark and Juan Manuel Fangio.

Autocourse

The only exception was in 1991, when Nobuhiko Kawamoto, the chief of Honda's F1 engine programme, wrote it instead of Ayrton Senna, after Senna was not acclaimed the Number One driver in the annual the previous year, despite winning the title.

Banco Nacional

The Nacional brand is better known as main sponsor of Ayrton Senna during most of his racing career in Formula One (1985-1994).
