Their first record, Bajofondo Tango Club, was launched in 2003 with great success, with a second lone project from pianist/DJ/composer Luciano Supervielle greeted warmly by reviewers in late 2005.
Their music is today used in tango clubs worldwide, and is popular with dancers who like neo-tango music like Tanghetto, Gotan Project, and Bajofondo Tango Club.
In her first solo CD, Ana Laan recorded her own songs with Juan Campodónico, Luciano Supervielle (Bajofondo Tango Club) and Jorge Drexler (her ex-husband), and coproduced the album with Leo Sidran.
He produced albums by Jorge Drexler (Frontera, Sea, Eco, 12 segundos de oscuridad), Luciano Supervielle, Bajofondo (Tango club, Mar dulce), El Cuarteto de Nos (Raro), La Vela Puerca (El impulso), OMAR, Sordromo, No Te Va Gustar and Ximena Sariñana among others.
