IBA has won some of the most prestigious international competitions among which the competition for the world’s tallest TV tower, the Canton Tower, formerly known as the Guangzhou TV & Sightseeing Tower in Guangzhou, China (completed in 2010).

Before founding IBA, she worked for several years at the office of Zaha Hadid Architects.
The Canton Tower is designed by the Dutch architects Mark Hemel and Barbara Kuit of Information Based Architecture, together with Arup, the international design, engineering and business consulting firm headquartered in London, United Kingdom.
