Morgan-Clifford's heir and only surviving child was his daughter Marion, who married James Fitzwalter Butler (1839–1899), the 15th and 25th Baron Dunboyne.
His daughter was wife of the 28th Baron Dunboyne (27 Jan 1917 – 19 May 2004) and mother of John Fitzwalter Butler, 19th Baron Dunboyne (b. 1951).
