A.Skillz kicked off 2005 in January with a mini-mix for Annie Mac that was later voted best mini-mix of the year by Radio 1 listeners, beating industry heavyweights such as Basement Jaxx, Mylo and Scratch Perverts.
He is most recognisable from his role as the invited band manager and selected victim in the infamous award winning music video of the single "Where's Your Head At?" by Basement Jaxx, directed by Traktor, and Mr. Lloyd in Doctor Who in the episodes "The Empty Child" and "The Doctor Dances".
FTT resident DJ’s such as DJ Dan, Donald Glaude, Mark Farina, Jeno, Tony Hewitt, Graeme, DJ Sneak, DJ Rap, Daft Punk, Basement Jaxx have played all over the world and have released UK Billboard chart-topping dance tracks.
Simhalan has toured and performed in productions of Wayne McGregor (UK), Richard Alston (UK), Laurie Booth (UK), Roger Sinha (Canada), Mavin Khoo (UK), and was also part of the 2001 Basement Jaxx album and Emergency Exit Arts production RungaRung.
During the Summer the park holds many concerts and events, some of the more popular artists have been : Foo Fighters, Green Day, Muse, The Killers, Westlife, Van Morrison, Sting, David Gray, Meat Loaf, UB40, The Waterboys, R.E.M., Oasis, Coldplay, The Chemical Brothers, Basement Jaxx, Underworld, Metallica and many others.
The company has worked with labels and artists including Motown, Britney Spears, Pink, Basement Jaxx, Bat For Lashes, Paramore, Pet Shop Boys and David Guetta to create interactive versions of their tracks.
Serocee's debut single "Life" was released in 2006 and received critical acclaim since then he has released further singles and been involved on projects with the likes of Basement Jaxx, MJ Cole, Zed Bias, and Toddla T, Reggae heavy hitters such as Shaggy collaborators Brian and Tony Gold, General Levy South Rakkas Crew and Lloyd Brown not to mention British Hip Hop veterans Karl Hinds, Seanie T, Roots Manuva and Super group Moorish Delta!
Since its foundation the club has played host to numerous internationally acclaimed DJs such as Sven Väth, Aphex Twin, Annie Mac, Pete Tong and Erick Morillo, and musicians such as De La Soul, Happy Mondays, Jamiroquai, Basement Jaxx and Dizzee Rascal.
The name is taken from Basement Jaxx's regular club event held at a small pub in Brixton.
In 2004 it was reported that Lewis would release her debut solo single "Never Felt Like This Before" on July 5, which would precede her untitled debut solo album on which she'd worked with numerous writers and producers including: Basement Jaxx, Biz Markie, K-Gee, Bacon and Quarmby and Trevor Jackson.
