She was a senior civil servant in the Government of Southern Sudan who lost her life alongside her husband Minister for SPLA Affairs General Dominic Dim Deng, senior politician Dr. Justin Yac Arop and 18 other Sudan People's Liberation Army/Government officials on a leased CEM Air Beechcraft 1900 that crashed 375 km west of Juba, Sudan on May 2, 2008.
Since April 10, 2006, Pacific Coastal has been flying into the airport using their Beechcraft 1900s, and occasionally their bigger Saab 340s.

On August 13, 1997, Flight 262 from Portland to Seattle, which was operated using a Beechcraft 1900 (registered N3172A) was damaged in a crash, landing at Seattle–Tacoma International Airport and destroyed in a fire that had erupted from spilled fuel.
