Benjamin W. Edwards (c. 1780–1837), American pioneer, early colony organizer in Texas
A forceful and compelling speaker, Arnett was influential in Republican politics, thanks, in part, to his friendship with fellow legislator (and later president), William McKinley.
His health began to fail in 1891, and he died January 16, 1892, at age 55, in Rome, having travelled to Europe for a rest.

Benjamin Watkins Leigh was a founding member (1831) of the Virginia Historical Society and first chairman of its standing committee.
In the 1920s, Benjamin W. Sangor purchased the area, intending to create a resort town catering to wealthy urban vacationers.
His doctoral advisors were Benjamin W. Lee and Yoichiro Nambu, and his thesis was on an Sp(4) x U(1) Theory of the Weak and Electromagnetic Interactions.
The Library of Virginia honored her as one of the eight Virginia Women in History for 2008.
Shortly after Saucedo's ruling, Edwards left to recruit more settlers from the United States, leaving his younger brother Benjamin in charge of the colony.
He also oversaw the first complete English translation of the French Vulgate and Post-Vulgate Cycles, released as the five-volume Lancelot-Grail: The Old French Arthurian Vulgate and Post-Vulgate in Translation.
The cemetery holds the graves of U.S. Chief Justice John Marshall, attorney John Wickham, Revolutionary War hero Peter Francisco, famed Union spy Elizabeth Van Lew, Virginia Governors William H. Cabell, John Munford Gregory (acting), and John M. Patton (General George S. Patton's great-grandfather), Judge Dabney Carr, United States Senators Powhatan Ellis and Benjamin W. Leigh, and dozens of Confederate soldiers.
