Homburg–Neunkirchen railway

Historically, the Homburg–Bexbach section was in Bavaria and was built as part of the Palatine Ludwig Railway.

Neunkirchen Hauptbahnhof

In July 1850, construction of the first Neunkirchen station started during the construction of the Saarbrücken Railway from Bexbach to Saarbrücken.

The signals from Bexbach to Dudweiler were remotely controlled from the Nof interlocking.

Saarbrücken Railway

The Royal Administration of the Saarbrücken Railway (Königliche Direction der Saarbrücker Eisenbahn) was established on 22 May 1852 with the goal of managing and operating the soon to be opened state railway line from the (then) border with Bavaria near Bexbach via Neunkirchen and St. Johann-Saarbrücken to the French border at Forbach.

On 10 January 1838, a provisional company was formed to build the line from Rheinschanze (renamed Ludwigshafen in 1865) to Bexbach.

He then spent time as a chaplain in Mittelbexbach (10 October 1901 - 30 August 1905), then time in Gersheim (31 August 1905 - 16 October 1905), then in Landau in der Pfalz (17 October 1905 - 30 June 1909).
