Late King Birendra Bikram Shah Birendra of Nepal and Late queen Aishwarya Rajya Laxmi Devi Shah Aishwarya of Nepal were invited for the inauguration of this shrine.

The idol in the temple is said to resemble three different Gods : Bhimeshwar in the morning, Mahadeva during the day and the Narayana in the evening.
