The three houses, Weizmann (Green), Szold (Yellow) and Herzl (Red), are mainly used for interhouse sports and are named for Chaim Weizmann, Henrietta Szold and Theodore Herzl.
He returned to Melbourne to complete high school – at Bialik College – and spent a year at the University of Melbourne before his admission to the prestigious Victorian College of the Arts (VCA).
In 1997 he joined the teaching faculty at Melbourne's Bialik College, where he pioneered a Year 10 elective, Comparative Genocide Studies.
