Daniel's sponsored the USAC Championship Car campaigns of Texan Lloyd Ruby both in 1970 under the Daniel's Cablevision banner and in 1971 while promoting Daniel's Utah Stars franchise.

In the summer of 1996 he joined forces with Matt Tinley to form the ill-fated America Presents with the financial backing of cable-magnate Bill Daniels promoting David Tua, middleweight champion Bernard Hopkins, super welterweight(junior middleweight) and sole US-American 1996 Olympic Gold medallist David Reid and Mike Tyson.
