The Institute embodies the guiding principles of the New American University, as defined by Arizona State University President Michael Crow.
She is also an Adjunct Research professor at the Arizona State University Biodesign Institute.
In 2004-2008, he served as the Director of the Center for Bioelectronics and Biosensors at the newly established Biodesign Institute and as a Professor of Chemical Engineering and Chemistry at Arizona State University (ASU).
