François Boch (1695–1794), a founder of manufacturer Villeroy & Boch
He has carried out projects for the offices in Paris of Le Louvre Abu Dhabi, for Swatch, for the MAC's (Museum of Contemporary Art Grand-Hornu, Belgium), for the luxury house Delvaux, Royal Boch and for the fashion brand Chine Collection.
Eugène Boch (1 September 1855 – 3 January 1941) was a Belgian painter, born in Saint-Waast, Nord, Hainaut, and the younger brother of Anna Boch, a founding member of Les XX.
It was founded by Patrick Boch, a Polish-born member of the Bar of England and Wales, and Jacob Christiansen, a Danish university student.
During the confusion of the French Revolution the mortal remains were salvaged by the Boch industrialist family (founders of Villeroy & Boch, ennobled in 1892) and hidden in an attic room in Mettlach on the Saar River.
For Villeroy & Boch, that step was the establishment of a pottery in Audun-le-Tiche, Lorraine on April 1st, 1748 their first pattern, Vieux Luxembourg.

Just a few decades later, the enterprise counted among the finest of European craftsmen, acclaimed as “Francois Boch et Freres, Manufacture Imperiale et Royale” of Septfontaines, near the city of Luxembourg.
