Brackenhall is a district of Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, England located 2 miles (3 km) north of Huddersfield town centre between Fixby and Sheepridge.
Located north of Deighton and east of Brackenhall (via Bradley bar), the area has two primary schools, a secondary school, and three churches, (one catholic, one Protestant and another converted to a Gymnasium).
Deighton was formally known as East Bradley, and Bradley was called West Bradley, the name changed when the Deighton family bought the area stretching from Screamer Woods (near the Deighton Fields) to Sheepridge and Brackenhall.
