Bullingdon Club, a socially exclusive student dining club at Oxford University
A number of successful bands made their formative performances in local venues such as the O2 Academy Oxford (formerly known as The Zodiac), and The Art Bar (formerly the Bullingdon Arms).
Throughout most of its history the county was divided into fourteen hundreds, namely Bampton, Banbury, Binfield, Bloxham, Bullingdon, Chadlington, Dorchester, Ewelme, Langtree, Lewknor, Pyrton, Ploughley, Thame and Wootton.
A successful reading group scheme has operated in Bullingdon Prison; authors Boris Johnson and Nicci French have visited the group to join in discussions.
