Burton Edward Grossman (died November 12, 1999) was a Mexican-American international businessman, health and education promoter, who served as chairman and CEO of Grupo Continental, a holding company established in Tampico, Tamaulipas, Mexico, in 1964, that owns and operates 46 corporations dealing with soft drinks, sugar refining, mineral water, cooling systems, plastics, an mainly bottling factories for The Coca-Cola Company in Mexico.

He was married to Lillian Wellburn (1875-1957), daughter of Judge Olin Wellborn (1848-1921).

He was critical in the development of Beverly Hills, California, and he is credited with naming it Beverly Hills after Beverly Farms in Massachusetts.
In 1914, Sweet was elected as a Republican to represent Iowa's 3rd congressional district in the Sixty-fourth Congress, replacing incumbent Democratic Congressman Maurice Connolly (who had run for the U.S. Senate).
