Lower Farm Estate

It was mostly developed by the local council during the 1950s, and stands in the north side of the town which borders rural land in the direction of Cannock.

Shelvock

The name also exists in a firm of accountants based in Cannock, Staffordshire.

Turnberry Estate

It was developed during the 1980s for the construction of new privately owned homes, and has borders with the countryside which heads away from Bloxwich in the direction of Cannock.

West Midlands bus routes 301 and 302

The 301 faces no competition for passengers travelling to or from Mossley, but faces competition from the 302 & Arriva Midlands Service 1 (to Cannock) along the Walsall/Bloxwich Corridor.

West Midlands bus routes 369 and 370

After deregulation in 1986, all three services were rerouted to serve Stephenson Square, Cavendish Road and Bloxwich Lane, leaving the northern part of Stephenson Road unserved by buses with the exception of a short-lived Midland Red North service, the X1 between Cannock and Birmingham.
