The company published a number of popular general-interest hardcover books during this time, including Good Morning, Captain (autobiography of Bob Keeshan, TV’s original Captain Kangaroo) and a book series by TV’s original Slim Goodbody.
During that time, Knowledge Adventure released many branded games such as Dr. Brain, Barbie, Jurassic Park III, Captain Kangaroo, Curious George and American Idol.

Early on in his career, Gregory also appeared on other children's shows such as Captain Kangaroo, occasionally filled in for Sandy Becker, and appeared with the likes of Soupy Sales, Chuck McCann, "Officer" Joe Bolton, and others.
Created by Gene Deitch under the Terrytoons studio (which by that time was a subsidiary of CBS, the network that broadcast Captain Kangaroo), Tom Terrific ran in a series of five-minute cartoons created specifically for the Captain Kangaroo show from 1957-1959, and was rerun on Kangaroo for years thereafter.
