Born in Cleveland, Ohio, Moulson studied with Frederick Jagel and Samuel Margolis in New York City before making his professional opera debut in 1958 with the New York City Opera as Sam Polk in Carlisle Floyd's Susannah.

Voketaitis remained a regular performer with the NYCO up through 1981, singing such roles as Creon in Igor Stravinsky's Oedipus rex, Giorgio Germont in Giuseppe Verdi's La traviata, Olin Blitch in Carlisle Floyd's Susannah, and Theseus in Benjamin Britten's A Midsummer Night's Dream among others.
During her classical vocal performing years as a flexible soprano, Reeves performances included works by Handel, Bach, Mozart, Puccini, Ottorino Respighi, Charles Ives, Menotti, and Carlisle Floyd.
