Carlos Jacanamijoy (born in Santiago, Putumayo in 1964) is a Colombian painter of native South American origin of the Inga people.

Jacanamijoy started his higher education in Fine Arts at the Universidad de La Sabana in Bogotá between 1983 and 1984.

"Carlos Jacanamijoy's vivid landscapes embody creation and the transformative Putumayo jungle of Colombia through abstractions of color and light," writes Navajo curator, Kathleen Ash-Milby of his work.

Between 1986 and 1990 Jacanamijoy received a Master in Plastic Arts from the National University of Colombia in Bogotá.
