In 1906 he joined the noted Brera Academy, where he met some of the most renowned Italian painters of the epoch, including Giuseppe Mentessi, Carlo Cattaneo, Cesare Tallone, as well as Achille Funi, Emilio Gola and Carlo CarrĂ .
