Champoluc

Champoluc is a village in, and the main centre of the commune of Ayas which is co-extensive with the Val d'Ayas in the province of Val d'Aosta northern Italy.

Champoluc is a well-known ski resort, part of the Monterosa Ski area which connects the upper reaches of the valleys of Ayas, Lys and Valesia (the latter is located in the Piedmont).

It is the largest village in the commune of Ayas, lying at an altitude of 1568 meters in a broad flat part of the valley.
