After this, Beake moved on to become an offensive assistant and quality control coach with the New Orleans Saints from 2001 to 2005.

His experience with coaching began when he was still young, with his father, John, who worked for the Denver Broncos for 22 years, including as general manager from 1985-1998, and who is now NFL Europa's Managing Director of Operations.
